Excellent quality and very easy to install. The door should be checked occasionally to ensure it still closes properly, as it can sometimes become slightly loose. The noise from the door is minimal and not bothersome.

We got this for a wide doorway to keep the dogs out while my mom is in the kitchen. She is 87 so she is not great on her feet. Very well made and easy to put up.

This product was so easy to install with just one person. The gate opens very easily and is sturdy enough for my 45 pound puppy to jump on and not get it open. I highly recommend this product. We can still close the door as well.

Nice looking gate, not to difficult to install but my dogs can easily open it and destroy my house. So unfortunately I really donĄŻt have a use for this gate now, it did not work for its intended purpose.

Missing lower wall latch

I use this to keep my dogs away from my door - escape proofing the exit. It works perfectly, is attractive and I love that there is no bar across the floor. The gate is sturdy, provides security, and adjusted to the size I needed. While fairly simple to install, I would not say it was easy. Read and reread the instructions for each step until you understand what you are-doing and why. I installed it in under 40 minutes, but I am sure it can be done in less time.

I do not know how so many people love this gate. Truly one of the worst out there. The installation was a huge hassle. What makes it worse is how this does not open, easily, consistently. We will be cursing this brand of a gate FOREVER. Seriously, if you're lucky to get one that installs and works as perfectly as everyone says it does, then you'll be happy. BUT if you get one like ours, you will want to rip it the first few times you use it.

This is the BEST gate EVER! Easy to install. Closes/opens nicely. I found a few flubs in the directions: unscrew the two metal brackets before trying to open & install it (last photo) Save them to put on after your gate is where you want it to keep it securely in place. Everything else is easy to put together. I used a level to make sure it was straight. I would buy this again & again.

The idea is great but the weight of the gate and trying to latch is annoying. If I still had the box I would return it

Fairly easy installation except for locating the lower wall latch. Bought this style wall mounted gate to eliminate the bar member that is on the stair step with other gate designs. Latches closed very easily and smoothly but has to be pulled up with a fair amount of force to disengage latches and open the gate.

Works like a charm.

The auto-close feature unfortunately lasted about a week, and the locking mechanism broke on the 3rd use! It still works as a regular baby gate, but it sure is expensive for a cheaply made product.

We just installed the gate today. So far so good! Install took about 30 minutes as this was our first time installing a hardware mounted baby gate. It definitely helps to have two sets of hands. Use the gate to help guide where to place the mounting brackets. Make sure to do them in the right order. The only confusing part was that the video and instructions tell you install wall anchors into studs. DO NOT DO THIS. Wall anchors should never be used in wall studs because it will make the mounting less secure. Wall studs are not meant to have anchors installed in them.

We are testing this gate out for 2 weeks and then I will update my review. Will decide then if we want to buy another one for the bottom of our stairs. For now, using this to prevent our senior dog from going up and down the stairs due to falling. Hoping the gate will last us into having kids.

Better than expected!!! Our 75 lb dog had broken through every baby gate until this one!! It's amazing, strong, and we are so grateful!! Highly recommend!!!

This is a very good gate, I used a carpenters level to install and I was able to screw into a wall stud for the hinge side of gate, making it very sturdy.
The drywall inserts you get in the kit may not hold up if you open gate a lot.
If I had to use something like that to hold hinge side of gate, I would opt for thru the wall butterfly type anchors.

This is a well made gate. ItĄŻs relatively easy to install and adjust. It works well and opens and closes smoothly. It takes a bit of work to get the top latch lined up when you install it but once everything is lined up it will self latch easily. I like the dual action required to open it, it adds an extra layer of safety to keep crafty kids and pets on the correct side of the gate. It comes with a good assortment of hardware so that it can be installed in a wide range of areas. Mine came with a set of spacers that made it a breeze to set the correct height and adjusting the width is pretty easy. Overall this is a solid baby gate that provides a good value.

Great gate easy setup and the no bottom bar if PERFECT for wheelchair, or anything with wheels plus no tripping over it!

Easy to install., very stutdy!

I love how this gate attaches to the frame of the doorway & it swings both ways... it is spring loaded and will shut on its own unless it is opened up all the way to the wall... it's a little tricky opening at first (the concept of pushing the button down while lifting the gate up at the same time) but not no more (sorry, I was struggling in the video because I am not left handed lol)... I highly recommend this gate (obviously because we have bought 3 of them)...
