What width does this expandable pressure mounted baby gate fit?

The PressGuard P7 fits openings starting at 29". We offer three sets (max widths: 42.6", 47.6", and 54.6") that include customized combinations of extensions (5.5" and 2.75") for a secure fit. Available in Black, White, and two Wood Pattern finishes to perfectly match your home decor. Important: For the 54.6" set, we do not include Y-spindles (for round banisters) to ensure maximum stability and safety. We recommend mounting this wider configuration against flat walls or square posts only.

Does this no-drill baby gate damage the walls?

No, this pressure mounted baby gate features a no-drill installation design. It secures firmly using tension and includes wall protectors, keeping your walls safe from holes or marks while providing a sturdy barrier.

Is this baby safety gate safe for use at the top of stairs?

Yes, but ONLY if you use the included hardware wall cups for safety. We primarily recommend installing this gate at the bottom of stairs when using the pressure-mount method. However, the package also includes wall cups and screws for hardware mounting. If you need to secure it at the top of stairs, please use these included hardware tools for absolute safety.

Why is there a gap between the latch and the frame? Is it broken?

No, this is normal for a pressure mounted baby gate prior to installation. The gap will disappear as you tighten the tension bolts. Pro Tip: The tension is perfect when the gap is about the thickness of a bank card. For our latest batches,we've included a green tightening band to help you easily apply or restore the correct tension during setup.
