AdaptiZone | Extra Wide Multi-Purpose Safety Gate for Irregular Spaces(72''-104'')

We already own another model from this brand and we love it. The design of this gate is pretty similar to the one we are currently using.
These gates are super durable and really hold up well. When you first start using the lift up to open mechanism it might take a little while to figure out exactly how much force you need to use. But once you get the hang of it it's actually really convenient to open and close.
Just a heads up if you are trying to keep out cats you probably need at least 36" height. So 30" gate is really just for keeping out dogs and keeping the kids safe.

I appreciate the extra width of this gate, especially for larger openings where standard gates feel cramped or limiting.

The secure latch is easy to open, even one-handed, which makes a real difference in day-to-day use. ItĄŻs convenient without feeling flimsy or unsafe.

Overall, this works well as a wide, secure gate thatĄŻs practical to use regularly. If you need something solid with a generous opening that doesnĄŻt fight you every time you walk through it, this does the job.

Careful with this gate. The auto close feature is fairly fast and trapped my heel while walking through carrying items. I went down hard on my knees, and the plastic parts broke making the gate useless.

I initially thought this was a free-standing baby gate, so I was really disappointed when it arrived after months of waiting and I needed to screw it into the wall. I wanted to use this to put around my entertainment center, but the wall is completely hot with wiring, so I can't screw anything into the wall. Even though it didn't work out for where I wanted to use it, it still proved useful around my weird staircase. I don't have thick enough posts at the end for traditional baby gates, so being able to wrap the whole gate around to attach to the outside was nice. It doesn't feel the most sturdy, but it was easy enough to install and doesn't feel like it will fall apart with careful use. I definitely wouldn't recommend it if you have a large dog or a determined toddler, though, as I don't think it would keep them safe. At over $100, I would expect a sturdier product, so I don't really think it's worth the price.

This took over a month to arrive, but it was worth the wait. This is made very well, was packaged securely, and is of good quality. It does say that it's not meant for drywall so just be aware of that to avoid damaging your wall.

It's a good size and will fit in a larger doorway. It's stable and functions well. I always have a bit of trouble installing things, but if you're handy, I reckon it will be quite easy to set up.

If you have kids you know the struggle! If your kids have 4 legs and are little adorable monsters you also understand! This gate is nice because it is so big and can be configured in so many different ways! It holds back my dogs, one is 90lb golden and the other is an 85lb shepherd from mauling guests with love and pouncing! This is definitely worth the cost, I have bought smaller for more! It is very sturdy and I find it easy to open! It was effortless to install and looks great,

So far it's been pretty sturdy, lots of zip ties when unpacking, it was packaged very well. Would recommend using a stud finder when drilling it into the wall (I was lucky to have one lined up with where I wanted it). The latch system is a bit too smooth and doesn't seem that hard for a toddler to figure out how to open compared to my other baby gates so I don't expect it to be useful for that long. It's easy to adjust and the width works well for blocking off wide openings.

Open concept floorplans are great, until you need to put up baby gates... Am I right?

It seems like homes that were built pre-2000's all had pretty standard hallways and doorways that were 28-44" wide, but since the era of open concept floorplans, it is not easy at all to bridge the gap between some of these hallways and big rooms. This is a great extra wide gate that has options to make it work in a variety of ways.

If I was putting this at the top of a stairway, I would definitely to with a wall mounted version, I don't like the bottom bar which can trip you if you're not watching carefully. but the bottom of the stairs like where we are going to put it, it is perfect.

As I mentioned, there are multiple options for mounting this gate, you can put an extension on each side, use just one of the extensions on either side or put both extensions on the same side with the door on the far left or far right. All of the connections have a hinge which is easy to adjust so you can make the gate fit the opening easily.

The latch is easy to use, maybe easier than some of the others that you have to pinch, shift and lift to make open, this style latch is not easy for a toddler to operate, but for an adult, one handed operation is a piece of cake.

It has a great finish and will be easy to clean when something makes a mess, which for us is guaranteed.

If you've got a wide opening to deal with, this is like I said, a great option that has really good flexibility for placement and widths.

My home was recently rebuilt, so I am not keen on screwing anything into my brand new walls. But, I also have slightly larger entry ways from my foyer to my living room and my kitchen to my living room, so it has been hard to find something with a tension mounting system that will fit these larger entry ways. The Babelio Baby Gate (72") has solved that problem for me. I use this for my dog. He is 80 lbs and tall, so the 30" height of the gate is awesome for my tall boy. While I do think that my boy, if he wanted, could potentially knock down the gate when it is mounted only by tension I still feel like it is a nice sturdy fit. And thankfully, he is not a rough dog. I don't even think it would cross his mind to try to push it down.

The gate is easy enough to install. Due to it's size it does make it easier to have someone else help you with it, but I was able to do it on my own. The self closing gate door is nice, so I don't have to constantly worry about whether or not it shut. The design is nice enough that it will not be a huge eyesore in your home. I found fancier gates but those were outrageously priced and a majority of them didn't even connect to your walls.

I feel like this will be sturdy enough to keep my boy out of the living room when I am gone. And if I need to babysit my sister's puppy again it will work well to keep him safe and out of rooms where he could get into trouble. So, I feel good about protecting her pup too.

I bought this for a weirdly shaped opening to a room I want to keep my dogs out of. Installing it took a couple of hours (part of that was finding scissors for the 500 zip ties holding it together, part of it was some user error I had to re-do) but over all it was not super difficult. I tightened it as much as I could it still wobbles a bit so I'm worried if one of my dogs hits it, it will rip right out of the wall. But that's my fault for having 80lb dogs. It looks pretty good for what it is. My one-star-off is for the fact that the gate doesn't swing shut, it swings through the gateway and opens the other side. So if I'm not paying attention when it closes it pops right open and lets my dogs through.

This gate is very sturdy and gives you multiple options on how you can set it up.

The modular gate gives you numerous ways to set it up depending on how wide your door is as well as different angles to drill in the sides.

WeĄŻve gone through half a dozen gates baby-proofing our house and this gate is one of the best quality, best looking, and easiest to install out of the bunch. If you have an irregular doorway the this is probably a good option for you. Works for both kids and pets.

The gate is good but instructions for installing needs improvement. We didn’t realize that there is something that goes under the gate until after installing. Also installing the bracket to the wall the instructions showed doing it with just the one bar however when we went to attach the gate there was a need for it to be up about 1/2 and inch so more holes in the walls. There is also these small black pieces and we have no idea what they are for?

This is my second baby gate from Babelio, so I can say with confidence that they make high-quality products. I have struggled with finding suitable baby gate options because I don't want to put holes in our custom woodwork. That's where this baby gate shines. Because it has three panels that can be angled as needed, I was able to install the hardware into the sheetrock instead. The baby gate takes up a bit more space this way, as opposed to a smaller straight gate. However, it is worth it in order to save our custom woodwork from being irreparably damaged. Sheetrock can be fixed with a little spackling and a dab of paint once the gate is no longer needed. Custom woodwork can never be returned to its original appearance once screws have been inserted. The gate was easy enough to install that I was able to do it by myself. It was helpful that the mounting brackets could be raised above our tall baseboards. I love the stay-open feature, which we use frequently when the kiddo isn't around. It's nice not to have to mess with the gate when it's not needed at the moment for safety. The auto-close feature is also wonderful. It saves me a lot of hassle when I have my hands full. We can easily open the baby gate, but the little one is defeated every time. It is serving its purpose well. The price at time of purchase was $99.99, which I think is extremely reasonable for such a large and versatile gate. This gate solved a major problem for us with its unique and thoughtful design.

This gate spans a big opening without wobbling and the auto-close feature clicks shut firmly every time. The gloss white finish blends with the trim so it does not look like an eyesore. Installation takes a little patience but the end result feels solid. A dependable gate for both curious toddlers and adventurous pets.

This gate is great for a kitchen or any other big room. It is strong metal and very sturdy, so this does great with big dogs as well. Looks clean and sleek. Love the door too.

I recently picked up this baby gate, and let me tell you, it's been a miracle worker in my house! I bought it to keep my granddaughter safe, and I have to say, I love the extra-long and tall sizeĄŞno more ninja-style moves to get over a short gate!

The auto-close feature is fantastic. It's like the gate knows when I'm carrying a handful of toys (or snacks) and takes care of itself. Super impressive! Plus, the glossy white finish makes it look much nicer than I expected; I mean, who knew a gate could be stylish?

Installation was pretty straightforward, too. I'm not an expert with tools, but I managed to get it up without turning my living room into a construction zone. And the quality? Superb! I've spent more on less sturdy gates, so this one feels like a steal.

Babelio makes some top-notch products. Especially in baby gates, where they seem to be the Gold Standard. I have another gate from this brand in my staircase, but needed a second to protect my toddlers from the fireplace. Since this design mounts with hardware and can curve, it's possible to install in multiple areas where a straight-line isn't the right move for securing the area. Just like the product photos show, this is super simple to effectively install and protect your kiddos from places where other baby gates wouldn't be helpful.

This is a really interesting gate (in a good way). It provides the security of a pressure mounted gate while allowing you to cover odd areas where a typical gate just won't work. Bonus is that I can install this around our Christmas tree this year and finally keep the dogs away.

Pros:
- Self closing feature works well and is a must have!
- Easy to install, It took maybe 10 minutes once I have everything out and ready
- Gate opens easily with one hand
- Angling the panels are easy with the tension screws. just unscrew corner to relive tension, adjust angle and tighten.

Cons:
- Not a real con, but feedback - would love to see larger sizes. I have a similar style (freestanding though) gate that's 200" wide, but I can't hardware mount it. I think it would be great to have something that wide hardware mounted.
