This is a very large gate when it is all assembled but it has smaller extensions.
The extensions help with different angles of our staircase .

Love the sturdiness, door closes by it self and also has the option to use the pressure points or the screws. I had a bit trouble setting it up (I followed instructions- don't uses extension only on 1 side) , one of the extensions didn't fit in the door gate, I tried a second section and same result; so I had to leave the extensions only on one side; so far is working great.
I'm using this as a gate for my dogs area. I'm really surprised how well it's working. I thought he might try and jump over it but he actually hasn't. And he loves all the new room he has š
I have an oversize opening between my dining room and kitchen (47 inches) and was looking for a tension gate so that my pomeranian puppy could stay in the kitchen area if I was gone for several hours instead of being in his crate. I first purchased one from another source that was advertised for up to a 51 inch opening. However, when I removed panels to make it fit, the space between the wall and gate allowed him to come through so it was returned. I did more searching and found the Babelio gate. Paid more than the first gate, but it is much better made, the "door" for passing through is wider, and I only had to remove the single bar addition for a perfect fit. It is very sturdy and secure with using only the tension mount. I am very satisfied with this product, and it definitely fits my needs!

The spacer hardware that expands out to the wall fits loosely into the gates side holes. It seemed counter intuitive but it worked well. I wish the directions explained that.
I have a 55" opening in a stairway. This gate may be great for a smaller space but very unstable for 55". There would need to be a very secure stabilizer attached to the floor in order to secure this gate in the middle. Unfortunately I didn't need a gate there immediately so waited a couple of months to put this gate in place, too late to return it. This seemed like a good quality gate. Just be aware you'll need something substantial to secure the center area. My son is an engineer who inspected the gate and agreed with me that the gate would need something to secure it in the middle of the span.

Very easy to install. Ends screw in place and you adjust tension for a tight fit. I bought this for my outside deck so my dogs can lay outside without being leashed. It can be easily moved from one doorway to another and it is made well. It keeps my 2 pit bulls from getting through. Iām sure it would work great for small children.
Good product, great for different opening sizes. Sturdy but a bit difficult to keep all the pieces together when inserting it into our stairwell opening.
We absolutely love this brand of baby gates. We have tried several brands and this has been the one that fits our needs the best. We have an autistic toddler so keeping certain areas of the house blocked off for his safety is essential and these gates have been lifesavers. They look nice and are easy for adults to open, but not our son. They are reasonably priced, sturdy, easy to install and keep our child safe. They are stable when our son leans against them and tries to open them. We have cats and they are still able to get where they need to be.

We needed a gate to separate our dogs from my mother-in-law who we just moved in (hospice). This gate is well made and adjustable. My husband was able to remove part of it and it workās perfect. Itās a little taller than the average doggie gate. I love that you can lift up on the the latch and the gate will swing open in either direction. Well worth the money.
