Excellent quality and very easy to install. The door should be checked occasionally to ensure it still closes properly, as it can sometimes become slightly loose. The noise from the door is minimal and not bothersome.

We got this for a wide doorway to keep the dogs out while my mom is in the kitchen. She is 87 so she is not great on her feet. Very well made and easy to put up.

This product was so easy to install with just one person. The gate opens very easily and is sturdy enough for my 45 pound puppy to jump on and not get it open. I highly recommend this product. We can still close the door as well.

Excellent instructions for installation. Comes with block type tools to ensure gate is level. Instructions tell you exactly what drill bit to use which was great. Very easy to use. Secure. We have taller trim and the gate still worked just fine.

Best for tall, older people, so bending isn't needed.

Easier to put together with a drill.

The lift, after the gate latch is released, can be a challenge.
Just make sure the bottom of the opening side isn't placed to fit all the way in.

I didn't like the directions, but I can build via pictures, and rocked that out in no time.
Use the spacer as you deem for height, due to door handle placement.

We love it! We were using a regular wooden baby gate that we had to take down every time we went down the hallway. It got annoying. I finally broke it lol. I didn’t want to put holes in the wall's, but we had to. This is for our cat. Yes I said our cat lol. Even though she can jump over it, she doesn’t. She knows when it’s closed she’s not suppose to be back there. I like how it opens all the way both directions. In the picture and video u will notice on the right side towards the bottom there is a place where you can put another latch to secure it more, but once again I didn’t want to put any more holes in the walls than need be and our cat can’t fit through there anyway so.

I would give stars if I could. As others mentioned the latching mechanism only actuates one of the three latches, the other two are just spring loaded. If/when you line everything up and tighten the three clamps (that keep the gate at the preferred width) the latch will release, but the other two are spring loaded in place. People are saying to lift up on the gate, but that's not right at all, you're just gorilla-ing the thing put of the way. Insanely stupid design.
Only way this works for me is to not install the lower latch receiver (mounted against wall). Now it latches/unlatches but is nowhere near firmly closed/secured.
I fully expect this thing to last less than a month before it's wrecked from having to muscle it up everything stressing the hinges.
Don't buy, it's absolute garbage.

Solid construction and feels good 3 weeks into deployment.

We had to rig the installation since gate was installed on the spindles of the stairs. It has proven to be very effective and sturdy. Requires a slight lift of the gate to open but not an issue.

Perfect!!! I bought this for my Mother for her birthday, to replace her old dog gate that had come apart. It was very easy to install and it is perfect for her needs. She loves it! My mom is handicapped, so I wanted her gate to be safe for her to walk-though. This gate does not have a bar at bottom, which makes is so much safer than other gates. This gate is top quality, very sturdy, and very attractive. I highly recommend this product. I will post a photo later today.

This is a nice gate. Love that it does not have a threshold to step over and appreciate that it can stay open at 90 degrees but will close itself otherwise. Two thumbs up

Use this to keep older dog out of basement

I am surprised this gate doesn't have higher reviews! This was easy to install. The made it a one person job. It's easy to close and install. You only need to drill 8 holes and screws provided. There is double stick tape on the hinges and latches to help hold it in place while you install it. The latch is simple to use. Just click and left s little. Best of all, no bar across the bottomr! I am going to buy 2 more

This fit perfectly in my foyer to the front door. I'd tried a couple of other expansion gates and all too short. This one keeps the dogs away from the door and smooth opening to allow practical entry to the garage or into the house.

Our bulldog would break through every rigging we came up with and I thought it was time to try something that would work. This gate is fantastic! I secured the gate by drilling into studs. It’s working out great and looks so much nicer than items we’d block the doorway with! I’m thrilled with my purchase!!!

I put this gate up to keep my dogs isolated in the kitchen when I am away from home. It is very sturdy, stays open when needed, and opens with one hand. Installation is easy, the instructions and included hardware are great. It’s easy to adjust for width. Overall, this gate may seem a little expensive, but I am very impressed with it and feel that it will last a long time.

I had a wooden gate before this one. The spokes fell out about a week ago. I have two fur babies, a Labradoodle four years old, and a golden doodle that I just adopted. The goldendoodle who is one years old and is very rambunctious when I open the front door he like to run so the gate is a barrier between the door and the great outdoors and I also like to sit on the front porch and this just keeps them in with me. The price was right, will last longer! It is medal, love the look.

I selected this product because it doesn’t have the bottom bar which is a tripping hazard. It seems well made and the white color blends nicely with my stairway railings, which are painted white. It does take some time to install. If either wall or railing isn’t level, the gate won’t close properly without making several adjustments. I’ve seen several customer complaints about gate not locking securely, likely because of this issue. There are small spacers that are included that help with that problem. I’ve now installed three of these at the top of my stairs.
